About JKBaits
Built From Real Time on the Water
JKBaits is a one-person operation built from a lifelong mix of fishing and art.
I’ve been painting for over 20 years, long before JKBaits existed. Over the years, that passion turned into hand-painted fishing lures shaped by real experience — including time spent as a charter captain in Mexico and competing as a bass tournament fisherman.
Every lure you see here is painted by me, one at a time. There’s no mass production, no duplicates, and no outsourcing. Each bait is built from what I’ve learned on the water — how fish react, where they strike, and what actually works.
JKBaits exists for anglers who want something different. Something personal. Something made by someone who fishes the same waters and trusts the same gear.
These lures aren’t meant to sit on shelves.
They’re meant to get bit.

Why I Do This
Fishing has always been more than just catching fish. It’s the early mornings, the quiet water, the anticipation of the strike — and the satisfaction of catching a fish on something you made yourself.
JKBaits is my way of sharing that experience.
If you fish JKBaits, you’re fishing something made with intention, experience, and respect for the craft.
